L-2: ITINERARY FOR THE SPACES OF THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR IN THE SEGARRA

Itinerary: Cervera-Concabella-Cervera

The journey that we propose you will guide you for some of the most significant spaces of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) in the Segarra. They are places that are framed inside the geographical space that formed the L-2, a line of republican fortification that went from the Seu d'Urgell to Tarragona, and where we can offer a very approximate vision of some painful events that marked that present and the following future.

Route: Leaving Cervera, after also picking up the presentation guide and orientation, the itinerary will take us for eight points that will explain to us:

- The violence and repression to the rearguard (Clot dels Àubens and castle of Concabella),

- The difficult life when the front eats closer (field of aviation of the Aranyó, nests of machine guns of the Canós, cemetery of Cervera, CEIP Jaume Balmes and walk of the Station, also in Cervera)

- The world of fields of concentration of Franco (building of the University of Cervera).

Total: 38 km. that they can always be made in car, reserving the last three points to go for a walk on foot.
