Itinerary 1.  Cervera- Sant guim de Freixenet- Montornés de Segarra.

In this route you can find the works that the famous architect and historian César Martinell, pupil of Gaudí, left in La Segarra, together with the modernistic details of Cervera dating the beginnig of the 20th. We can finish the visit in an unusual cemetery with a curious history,

 

 

Cal Pujol de Guissona

Itinerary 2. Guissona- Ponts- Torà- Olius (Solsonès).

The capital of Guissona was the echo of the blooming of the century change too, as Ponts, which gave a young talent, Antoni Samarra, painter and sculptor, who introduced himself in the modernistic atmospheres of Barcelona and Lleida and left some works in his natal village. Passing by Torà or La Seu road we can dare going to Olius, near Solsona, and visit its modern cemetery with a clear Gaudí influence.

Itinerary 3. Tàrrega- Guimerà- Vall del Corb.

Tàrrega offers some good modern exemples, preceding no doubt what it had to be the dinamic capital of Urgell. Souther in the Corb valley, the presence of Josep Maria Jujol in Guimerà church is the most outstanding element and an unusual exemple of the insertion of the Modern Style in medieval settings. From here we have the route of “catedrals del vi” (wine cathedrals) very near. The wonderfull cellars of La Conca de Barberà being the nearest the ones in Solivella and Rocafort de Queralt.
